Bio
Monica Beghini is a Master's student in Mathematical Engineering at Politecnico di Torino. Her academic journey began at Università degli Studi di Padova, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics. Through university projects and an on-site internship, she strengthened her programming skills, enabling her to apply mathematical concepts to real-world problems and practical applications.
Current Role
She is currently working on her Master’s thesis at Politecnico di Torino. Her research focuses on a project that combines mathematics and data science — disciplines she has studied extensively — applied to the field of Earth observation, a domain she is now deepening her expertise in

Monica’s expertise spans several key areas of mathematics, including statistics, optimization models, data science, and machine learning.
